Our Mission Statement 2018-07-04T20:06:07+02:00

Maoz exists to be a witness of the Good News to the people of Israel in outreach, discipleship and raising up godly Israeli leaders until the day when “All Israel Shall be Saved.”

Our Goals

Our ultimate goal is to see the Israeli people accept the atonement of their Messiah Yeshua as promised in Scripture.

While we continue to reach out to our people, we also have more specific goals:

  1. To teach the Bible—the Old and New Covenants—as the basis to know the way to abundant life in this world and eternal life in the next.
  2. Establish a safe environment which will allow fellowship for Messianic believers, a steady personal spiritual growth for new believers and be a vehicle for outreach throughout Israel.
  3. Help Israeli believers mature in their faith and personal walk with the Lord.
  4. Financially help the poor and needy believers in Israel, as well as victims of war and terror.
  5. Help Israeli believers persecuted for their faith in Messiah as they fight for freedom of religion.
  6. Help new immigrant believers and young Israeli believers, who are the future of the Messianic Movement in Israel, reach their full potential.
  7. Outside Israel, our goal is to spread awareness among the nations of the world about Israel and the Middle East conflict, and give a prophetic perspective for current events in Israel.

Our Strategies and Achievements

Maoz has been a pioneer in the Messianic Jewish movement in Israel since 1976.

To achieve the above listed goals, the following projects and strategies are being implemented:

  • Maoz makes it possible for Congregation Tiferet Yeshua to rent a hall in downtown Tel Aviv, one of the most expensive real estate areas in the world.
  • Maoz also supports other congregations in Israel.
  • Maoz is publishing books for evangelism, spiritual growth and maturity which are being distributed in congregations and Bible bookstores throughout Israel.
  • Maoz’ istandwithisrael.com has distributed over $5,000,000 since its beginning in 2002 to the poor and needy and war victims among the Jewish and Arab Israeli believers, including those persecuted for their faith.
  • Maoz enables new immigrant believers to learn the Hebrew language well enough to make a living wage.
  • Maoz gives young Israeli believers, who are the future of the Messianic community, the opportunity to get a college education.
  • Maoz publishes the monthly Maoz Israel Report free of charge, providing worldwide education, information, and insight on Israel and the Jewish people.

Our Capacity

Maoz is currently one of the largest Messianic Jewish Ministries based in Israel.

We have the following resources to help us reach our goals:

  • Dedicated and involved Board of Directors.
  • Committed leadership team.
  • Highly trained and devoted staff.
  • In addition to our Tel Aviv Headquarters, Maoz has offices outside Israel located in the U.S., United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Ireland and Brazil.
  • Expanding community of Maoz Israel Report readers and donors—individuals, as well as churches and congregations across the world—plus a core base of intercessors.
  • Technology, equipment and infrastructure allowing us focused communication with our donors and supporters outside Israel, as well as specific outreach within Israel.

Measuring our Success

With the understanding that the ultimate achievements of Maoz Israel Ministries could only be measured in eternity, we have several indications of our continual success in Israel.

Note: Though we would love to give you specific numbers, names and exciting events happening in Israel as a result of the outreach of Maoz Israel, because of religious persecution we must refrain from doing so. Nevertheless, after over 40 years of ministry and outreach in the Holy Land we can clearly see that the Lord is moving upon this nation in an unprecedented way!

At Congregation Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv we constantly see Israelis receiving their Messiah, growing in their faith, maturing in their relationship with God and using their gifts for the Kingdom. The total number of Messianic Jews in Israel has grown from a mere handful in the early 1970’s, to some 15,000 believers today. Maoz has been an integral part of the Messianic Jewish movement in Israel since 1976.

We rejoice as we see young Israelis rise up as the next generation of congregational leaders, worship leaders, youth leaders and pioneers in the market place and other key positions in society and the Body of Messiah.

Our Hebrew Book Publishing department has been expanding, and we’ve been publishing faith books as fast as we can get the funds. We now have a catalog with over 120 different Hebrew-language titles, and book stands in many Messianic congregations in Israel. We also have several seminars for personal and family growth available in DVD format, as well as the entire New Testament on audio CDs.

We are thrilled about the overwhelming support for our istandwithisrael.com benevolence fund, which enables us to support the poor and needy believers in Israel. We see the results of our contributors as we watch families get out of debt, individuals receive better jobs and young people established in this land.

Through our Persecuted Believers fund we have been able to help Israeli believers with several court cases as they fight for freedom of religion as stated in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, of which Israel is a signatory.

We have been publishing the Maoz Israel Report for over 30 years, and it is now available online in eight languages: English, Hebrew, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Chinese, Korean and Russian. In addition, we have an expanding base of readers – both offline and online – and now provide weekly videos about events in Israel, or concerning Israel and Maoz Israel Ministries.

Keeping YOU in the Loop

Though it is impossible to report on every single project in which we are involved, we are keeping you in the loop on the major things happening in Israel and with Maoz Israel Ministries.

We are able to do this via publishing of our free monthly Maoz Israel Report and our weekly email partner prayer letter. We also produce videos about different areas of interest in Israel and/or the ministry of Maoz.

We also bring you personal testimonies and wider ministry updates through our annual reports to our readers. Here are just a couple of examples:
